This might be the most appropriately titled blog post I’ve ever written.ย These brownies are really easy – as easy as mixing up a boxed brownie mix, at least in my opinion. But they taste so much better.
They are chocolately and fudgy. If you’re a fan of cake-like brownies, these probably aren’t for you. But for my tastes, these brownies absolutely work for me!
Ditch The Box & Never Look Back Brownies
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. chocolate chips
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/4 t. baking soda
1. Heat sugar and butter in a medium pot over low heat until butter is completely melted, stirring often. Remove from heat, stir in 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips until melted,ย and let cool to room temperature.
2. In a small bowl, briefly whisk the eggs. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of chocolate mixture to the eggs and stir to combine, just to temper the eggs. Then pour all of eggs into the pot with the melted chocolate. Stir to combine.
3. Stir in flour, vanilla and baking soda until well blended. Pour into a greased 13×9 casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes.
4. When brownies are done and still hot, sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips on top. Cool completely in the refrigerator before serving, if you can wait that long.

Hi!
I am a terrible cook but promise my work colleagues I would bring in a treat cooked by me on Monday. I have cooked the delicicious brownies but am too cared to try one… I am afraid I havenot done them correctly… ๐ It looks yummie… But… You never know… I will take them to work and try one at the same time as everyone else. LOL!
OK – we made these brownies over the weekend for our 4th of July picnic – they were AWESOME! I have to agree with the author, though – they are better after they’ve cooled completely, but it was almost impossible to wait that long. Wait, it was impossible – I ate 3 of them while they were still piping hot. DEFINITELY better than any box brownies!!!
oh wow, I am always on the lookout for the Real Brownies, you know the chewy, fudgy, dense ones? I am not a fan of the cake like ones (just make a Chocolate Cake if you want those?? ๐ ) So I will have to try these out! ๐
I just made these for our dessert. They are delicious!!!
These are the best brownies I have ever tasted! Thanks for the great recipe!
Thanks for posting this, It?s just what I was researching for on bing. I?d a lot relatively hear opinions from an individual, barely than a company web web page, that?s why I like blogs so significantly. Many thanks

.) Iโm impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog thatโs both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
