Ingredients

  • Peanut butter 1 cup
  • Chocolate chips 2 cups
  • Pretzels 1 cup, crushed
  • Marshmallows 1 cup
  • Raisins 1/2 cup
  • Butterscotch chips 2 cups, optional
  • Oats 1 cup, optional

Instructions

  • Melt 1 cup of peanut butter with 2 cups of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Stir in 1 cup of crushed pretzels, 1 cup of marshmallows, and 1/2 cup of raisins.
  • Spread the mixture onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Refrigerate until firm.
  • Cut into bars and serve.

Notes

As you can see, there are no measurements here. Just use what you have in any combination that works for you.
I’ve omitted the peanut butter, subbed chocolate chips for butterscotch chips, used oats instead of pretzels, used just pretzels… Really, the possibilities are endless. It turns out a little different each time, but it’s always good. And it’s a great way to stretch what we have on hand.
