Swagbucks for K Cups

It took me over a year of hearing my friends rave about Swagbucks before I finally jumped on the bandwagon. I’ve got say that I was stupid to wait so long. Just think of all those Amazon gift cards I’ve been missing out on while searching the web for 12 months.

Since joining, I haven’t regretted a single minute. (With the exception of kicking myself repeatedly for not doing it sooner!) I average about 40 – 50 swagbucks a day, although often it’s a bit more. For every 450 swagbucks I earn, I can turn them in for a $5 Amazon gift card. This is HUGE for my husband and I right now.

I guess I should give you a little of the back story to better explain myself. In our new house, the second floor is all master suite. We have a large bathroom, a walk in closet, a nice sized bedroom, a long hallway that will someday make an incredible library, and this huge sitting area, which also has a large corner that will double as a nursery for about a year after baby #5 is born.

(Please pardon the mess and the crazy children. Neither can be helped!)

For years, Eric and I have enjoyed a cup of coffee and a small dessert together before bed. It’s one of our favorite rituals and one that we can not live without. It’s SO good for us.

Anyhow, since our evenings are now spent upstairs and our coffee pot is downstairs, we decided to splurge a little on ourselves and buy a Keurig. Probably one of the smartest purchases we’ve ever made! We both have a cup of coffee made from there each morning and each night. It’s so nice to not have to go downstairs. Instead, we just walk the 20 feet or so from our bedroom and we’re ready to go.

Although K Cups are admittedly a splurge, we have been determined to buy them for the lowest price we can find. And right now, that is through Amazon. Each month we buy a 50 pack of Coffee People Donut Shop K Cups and a 50 pack of Gloria Jean’s Hazelnut K Cups. At just $21 per box, that is by far the best deal we’ve found.

And to sweeten that deal even more, it’s costing us nothing out of pocket. That’s right – we are entirely funding our K Cup habit from Swagbucks. Could it get any sweeter than that?

Do you use Swagbucks to search online? If so, what do you use your Swagbucks for? I’d love to hear! And if you haven’t signed up yet, what are you waiting for? Don’t be like me and regret not signing up sooner!
