Soup is not just for eating around our house, it is an experience to be savored! Usually when I make soup, it is the meal along with some great homemade bread. But when entertaining, especially at Christmas time, I think there is no better way to start a meal than with a cup of soup.
My love of cooking can probably be traced back to helping my mom make mushroom soup for the first course of our Christmas Eve dinner. Although I haven’t made that soup in awhile, it is on my menu plan for Christmas Eve this year. I can’t wait to make it (I can smell it already!) and share the recipe. In the meantime, here a few soup recipes that would be first-course suitable for the Bloggy Progressive Dinner.
Chilled Zucchini Bisque (served warm)
Creamy Cauliflower & Garlic Soup
