I can’t believe this is already the final check-in for our four week 1/3 Less Challenge! I don’t know about you but the time sure has flown by for me.
So, how did you do this past month? Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with my efforts. I dropped a few things from my original list due to time constraints and various other things going on around our house. I haven’t forgotten them though, nor have I changed my mind that those changes are things I want to start instituting in my kitchen. Since I always change things up in the kitchen during the summer, it seems like a great opportunity to keep focusing on other changes as well.
I think my biggest successes during the challenge were spending 1/3 less time in the kitchen and having 1/3 less food waste. Some new quick meals have now made our regular rotation and I’ve got lots of great ideas for repurposing leftovers that would usually end up just getting thrown away.
