Fall has definitely arrived for us. We can feel it in the crisp, clean air, see it in the piles of leaves littering our front lawn and smell it as the cool wind blows in through our slightly opened windows. And I couldn’t be more excited! Fall is definitely my favorite season. I love it for all the things it brings – from sweater weather to beautiful colors. And the food! I honestly can’t say enough about my love of Fall Food.
I have been loving adding some of our fall favorites into our meals. As I stock the freezer, thoughts of those dishes are never far from my mind and I’m trying to insure we’ll get our fair share of all that seasonal goodness even when I’m too busy to cook.
Here are just a few of my personal favorite Autumn-Inspired Dishes. I hope you can find a few that are new to you to add to your fall repertoire.
Cinnamon Apple Stuffed French Toast
Cider Vinegar Chicken Over Smashed Red Potatoes
All I’ve got to say is Yum! 🙂
Thanks for reminding me about your maple oat bread — I’ve been meaning to try that one!
I have every intention of making the apple spice cupcakes and the loaded potato soup. Delish looking/sounding.
I have a question about something though: when the soup calls for chicken stock, can I just use canned chicken broth instead? Or can chicken stock be purchased in the same area of the store (and I have never noticed it before)?
Those apple spice cupcakes look absolutely amazing! I will definitely have to try those!
And creamed spinach is one of my favorite things to eat…thanks for the reminder to make it!
Mmmm! I posted some of my fall favourites this week too! 🙂 I like the look of those cookies with the caramel!
