A Feast For A Family

Do you know a family that could use a little help this holiday season? Maybe they can’t afford all the fixings to make a big family meal. Or maybe they are busy caring for little children and just won’t have the time or energy to prepare a big meal. It could be a military wife caring for the kids on her own while her husband is overseas. The list goes on and on. Maybe it’s your own family!

If you know someone who could use a bit of boost this year, I have a great suggestion. The Bob Evans Farmhouse Feast, available now and through the month of December, would be a great way to help out a family.

The Farmhouse Feast, which serves up to eight, comes complete with your choice of a slow-roasted whole boneless turkey breast or sliced boneless ham, bread and celery dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, buttered sweet corn, green beans with ham, cranberry relish, rolls, a loaf of pumpkin bread and a pumpkin pie with whipped topping all for less than $10 per person. The Farmhouse Feast allows families to enjoy a wholesome, delicious holiday feast without all the worry, time consuming preparation or heavy duty post-meal clean-up.

Our family sampled the Farmhouse Feast and we all agreed that it makes a great alternative. Since you use the stove (or microwave) and oven to warm up the food at home, you even get to enjoy all the smells of that special holiday meal cooking. We were impressed with the quality and quantity of the food.

Whether for your own family or as a generous gift for a family in need, I think the Bob Evans Farmhouse Feast  would make a great alternative if preparing a homemade meal is not an option.

Full disclosure: Our family was provided with gift cards to purchase a Farmhouse Feast. We also received a few other small goodies. However, all thoughts and opinions are, as always, my own.
