These are great recipe ideas. Not things we typically eat in my house and I love to try new ideas and see how the family reacts. I'm very interested in doing the meatloaf cups since I could see turning them into a meatball type sub sandwich as well. ;) Very versatile!

Thanks for the list! Do you cook your meals before freezing them? Also - what do you use for storage? Not for soups, but for things such as lasagna? Do you invest in Pyrex or disposable pans? Or something else? Thanks!

I do like freezing meals, but I found that the whole "do it all in one day" thing actually seemed to take more time and effort than just cooking each day's worth one at a time. What I prefer is just making a double batch for a night's dinner and freezing the extras for another day. I do this ALL the time with soup, even on accident, b/c I make such big pots for our little family! :)

I often have parts of meals frozen, too, like chopped onions or peppers or lime/lemon juice.

Wow! Thanks for your list, recipes, and links to other sites. I am expecting a new baby in a little over seven months and I need to get cooking to fill my chest freezer full of meals for post-partum. Goodness knows I would only be able to take my husband's cooking for a day or two.

I was wondering on the quiche if you cook it first before you freeze it and what is the best way to store it in the freezer? Thanks so much. Great list!

We made meatloaf cups a while back and they were so good. I need to make them again when it cools off around here. Great list Kate!
