I’m going to be perfectly honest here – grilling doesn’t happen very often at our house. We have a small charcoal grill that is used occasionally for hot dogs or bratwursts. Beyond that, any “grilling” that is done is on our George Foreman grill.
For a long time, not grilling was a matter of logistics. We lived in a condo and just didn’t have the patio space to grill. Neither my husband nor I felt too put out by this fact. Grilling just wasn’t a priority for us. Sure, we loved the taste of grilled food, but we just didn’t have the desire to actually do the grilling.
Now that we are settled in our new house and enjoying spending a good portion of our days outside, the grill has started to come into play more often. It’s still the same small charcoal grill and it’s still used for simple hot dogs and brats. But Eric and I are both getting more into the idea of grilling and thinking we’d really like to expand our grill repertoire.
So grilling ideas and recipes have been on my mind quite a bit lately. That’s why I downloaded the free Mr. Food Let’s Get Grilling eCookbook as soon I learned about it. And I’m so glad I did! It has 35 grill recipes, including appetizers, desserts and everything in between. There are so many I can’t wait to try out!
Sometimes I wonder if we’re the only ones that don’t grill more often. I’d love to hear about your grilling habits!
