She’s Here!

Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting on the couch doing some work on my laptop. I stood up and my water broke. My doctor’s appointment for Friday, which was to schedule an external version and the c-section, obviously wasn’t going to happen. We headed to the hospital instead.

And at 5:35 pm, our newest little girl was born via c-section.

She is doing fantastically. I feel great – much better than I expected. If all goes according to plan, I should be heading home tomorrow. Until then, I’ll be enjoying some one-on-one cuddle time!

Looks like you’ve got some wonderful “big helpers” around there. Are you sure you’re ever going to get a chance to hold her?

  7. Congratulations! I hope everything goes very well. Our fifth joined our family about 2 and 1/2 weeks before yours. Isn’t it wonderful and crazy at the same time? I love the shot of your older ones looking on in amazement.
