Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting on the couch doing some work on my laptop. I stood up and my water broke. My doctor’s appointment for Friday, which was to schedule an external version and the c-section, obviously wasn’t going to happen. We headed to the hospital instead.
And at 5:35 pm, our newest little girl was born via c-section.

19 1/2 inches, 7.3 pounds
She is doing fantastically. I feel great – much better than I expected. If all goes according to plan, I should be heading home tomorrow. Until then, I’ll be enjoying some one-on-one cuddle time!

Congrats! Great day! My first baby boy was born on September 30th, 8 years ago. It is good because it means you get an extra year before kindergarten!
Congratulations!! She’s precious and I love the first picture of her … her expression is priceless!! Like, “are they seriously all ready taking pictures of me??”. I have one very similar of my oldest when he was first born. Love her name!
