Also if one doesn&#039;t want to bake up bananas now, I have taken the time to mash the bananas needed for one recipe add about 1 tsp lemon juice for every 3 mashed bananas and stuck them in a freezer bag, labeled them as to the how many bananas in the bag and frozen the bananas plain.  Then when I want to actually bake the recipe up, I pull the bananas from the freezer, thaw them out and pour them into the recipe.  I find this way takes up less space than just sticking the bananas in the peel straight into the freezer. :)
