I made these last night for my husband’s birthday to try something a little different than his usual german chocolate cake (it seems like that is the trend). They were DELICIOUS and super easy! Thank you for such an awesome recipe!

I made these this morning for my husband’s birthday. They are a hit! The best part is that they look like they were hard to make, but were so simple- I get extra points from dh for that!

Oh those look wonderful! Like you have stated I rarely use a box cake mix,however this past week of shopping I picked up a German chocolate mix and pecan frosting as well.
I will most certainly be making this soon!
