Foodie Fave Five ~ Homemade Versions of Favorite Foods

Last Updated on

I am a huge fan of attempting to recreate recipes or store-bought favorites. Sometimes things flop and other times they are huge hits with everyone in the family. I actually find the experimentation to be half the fun and my family are willing guinea pigs.

My friend Lynn, who blogs at Lynn’s Kitchen Adventures, also loves to make homemade versions of foods. She’s duplicated some great recipes and she’s sharing her five favorites with us today. Everything sounds so good!

I love to cook and experiment with different recipes and foods. One of my favorite things to do is to come up with make at home versions of our favorite foods.

Make at home versions of our favorite foods are almost always less expensive and healthier than the restaurant or store bought version.

Here are a few of my favorite at home versions of our favorite foods.

Chipotle Style Cilantro Lime Rice

and Chipotle Style Black Beans

Panera Potato Soup

Orange Julius

Panera Broccoli Cheese Soup

What is your favorite make at home recipe?
