When I added the bacon and noodles, I also threw in some fresh sliced tomatoes and baby spinach. They added a real depth of flavor and made the dish look gorgeous! The only problem I had was that my sauce was a bit watery--I think next time I'll add a little more cheese or maybe cut out the broth. I made this last night and it was delicious!
