Virtual GABS

Welcome to the Virtual Great American Bake Sale (Virtual GABS) information page.

Every year across the United States, Share Our Strength asks people to host bake sales in their communities. These Great American Bake Sales raise funds for after-school and summer feeding programs–food programs that many kids depend on when school is not in session. Share Our Strength is a national organization working to make sure no kid in America grows up hungry.

And now I am pleased to welcome you to the first ever blogging community Virtual Great American Bake Sale.

Go here for a list of all the Virtual Great American Bake Sale Participants.

Below are the Virtual Great American Bake Sale recipe ebooks. Remember, 100% of the proceeds raised through the selling of the ebooks will go directly to Share Our Strength’s Great American Bake Sale program. All of the ebooks may be purchased for the donation amount of your choosing.

Gourmet Girl Magazine proudly endorses and support the initiatives of Share Our Strength.
Count us in on all levels – Tweet, Facebook, and Blog.
I will ask our chefs to also submit a recipe.
    Thanks for spreading the word.

  12. Penny Wantuck Eisenberg
    March 24th, 2009 @ 10:03 pm

Would you want the recipe to be on our blog before selling the ebook? That would seem counterproductive. Your form above doesn’t leave opportunity for multiple-photo recipes. If this is what we would be submitting, what would be the preferred method of transferal – pdf?

I love this idea and would be proud to contribute.
